Following on from his behind-the-scenes work with Adobe in the US, Adobe in the UK used his services to act as a Guru to answer exhibition attendees' questions on the use of their products, mainly Photoshop and Lightroom. Those were at shows such as the Hasselblad World Tour (English leg!), Focus on Imaging, Nikon Solutions Expo and Adobe Live. Since many of those shows were teamed with Wacom, he also demonstrated their equipment and its techniques!
An earlier career in the RAF gave him good technical knowledge that has allowed him to more fully understand Apple Macs, especially when coupled with digital photography, and gives him the opportunity to help others with their choice of equipment, fault diagnosis and rectification.
A longstanding relationship with Photoshop pre-release testing, has brought in-depth knowledge of the program, which led to opportunities to tech-edit for authors, Martin Evening, Jeff Schewe, Deke McLeland, Philip Andrews, and the Mac section for Wildlife photographer, David Tipling.
He was also asked by Apple to give the very first talk after the opening of the Buchanan Street Store in Glasgow - Scotland's first Apple Store! It was to give a demonstration and talk about the advantages of using Macs with Creative Suite 3. Adobe themselves sent him on similar missions to Calumet and Jessops stores, in London, Manchester and Cardiff. More recently he has become a tester for Dave Pawlowski and CamRanger.
